Tuesday @ Oshkosh

Hi all,

Fire away with any questions you'd like. The mustang attendance was 20+, 17 of them managing a tailchase routine to open the afternoon airshow. The Firefly is positively wonderful--definitely Tuesday's main attraction on the warbird ramp. No flying on Tuesday, but the Griffon was fired up for a wing-folding demonstration. Kermit's B-25 is also a sure trophy winner. Mr. Pardue brought the Wildcat, Tom Wood in his Bearcat, Corsair "Marine's Dream", a pair of Avengers, and Harpoon "Hot Stuff" rounded out the Navy attendees (plus 60+ SNJ's and Trojans of course).

Thurman's and Hanson's P-40's on the ramp; also Gerry Beck brought along a partially-completed P-51A fuselage and rebuilt Allison to drool over. Took quite a few photos on the digital camera, but by the time I figure out how to download and post all this crap someone else will have beat me to it.

All right, I'm ready...questions anyone?

Dan
