I always thought it was named retrospectively after our own much appreciated webcrawler Tony.

Joking aside, it would be nice to see an example of this important fighter being restored if only to groundrunning condition (suggestive remark Mr Weeks).

Many years ago I read about the various expeditions by the RAAF to recovoer the Boston/Havoc airframes. There was also mention of a Ki-61 which had been in perfect conditon and just sat there after having bellylanded in the jungle. The recovery team just had to dismantle it, but when they came back to collect it, the tailsection had dissapeared. Wonder what ever happened to that airframe.
