Mmmmm, I just don't understand people who start flashing around these stories.
Although I must say it is something that is quite common in the aviation business. I also know someone, in fact I spoke him on sunday, who claimed years ago that he had acquired a Buchon from Spantax some years ago for the sum of 1 (yes, one) guilder. Every time I asked him when it was going to show up on his doorstep he alsways had another excuse why things were halted etc. Of course the Buchon never materialized (I guess he couldn't afford the NLG 1,-)but then he planned to build a flyable Me109 himself using wooden frames and plastic skinning pop-riveted to it.
The only thing I saw were photo's showing some cardboard frames mounted on a wooden pole. And this was years ago. When I asked him on sunday what the progress was, there was another excuse.
Basically these people only waste you time.
