Only aware of a few aircraft that could even come close to the requirement.....W/C Kitt North-Lewis. Belly landed his Typhoon on an island in the middle of the river Maas (occupied at the time) and then came back with prisoners. The only other is a report from one of the ground personnel in Germany that during 1945 a couple of Typhoons were pushed into holes on a German airfield and then covered over. He didn't say the airfield but did say that it is currently an active Air Force Base!!! Don't have any contacts in Germany so haven't got any more info on anything!!!
