The 'Spitfire Partnership', through an agency, aquired the substantial mortal remains of the two French beach Spitfires P9374 and N3200 and also the Maltese remains of Seafire MB293. The original stated intention was to institute the rebuild/re-engineer of these three aircraft to flying status. Disappointingly this plan is on hold and one might imagine the stock market fluctuations of the past eighteen months has played a part in this decision. The remains are secure in a container in the Essex region. (location intentionally vague).
