Lady Lodestar

Does anyone know if the C-60 name "Lady Lodestar" is actually USAAF s/n 42-55884 or is simply marked as such.
The CAF Old Dominion Squadron web site is not specific when it comes to the USAAF s/n. I thought it might be a commerial built example.
