Here's what the linked page means..
This plane crashed in 1944 on the Leche beach. It was found when a prop blade emerged from the sand during low tide. The "Ailes Anciennes" recovery team had only 2 hours between high tides to recover the wreck from the beach. people from the village helped with excavating machines, and the firemen and city coucil helped too.
The plane was diplayed unrestored for 7 years in the "downed pilots memorial". then, as it was too badly corroded it has been *r?form?*..
well it gets a little tricky here, *r?form?* is usually used when army planes are dropped out of the inventory. here it would mean scrapped, though a very "politically correct" term..
this is however not true, as it is without doubt 4-13954 acquired in 1996 by D Kingsholt and A Bowden...
hope it helps
