I agree with the B-24 being more representative of the RAF. Move the B-17 to Cosford and have the B-24 at Hendon and in RAF markings. B-25 should be in RAF markings. Space for a Victor would be nice.....the neglected K.1 from Duxford, refurbished back to B.1 configuration would be about perfect. Replace the Vulcan with a more appropraite one...i.e. the 'Black Buck' mission '607 that's at Scampton would be most appropriate for the RAFM rather than the one currently on display.
Black 6 should never have left Duxford anyway, even if grounded she could still have been towed out to the flight line and ground run/taxied on flying days.
I'm not convinced that there should be any axis aircraft at Hendon anyway, other than in the BoB Hall. Even then, things are mixed up, it could be argued that the night fighter Me110 and Ju88 would be more appropiately displayed in the Bomber Command Hall..??!!
Ho hum....
