Greenland P-38's

Hi all,
It is several years nog since plance were made public that a consortium had gained permission to recover the remaining 5 P-38's which had force landed in Greenland. As we all know during the early nineties one P-38 was recovered and is now close to flying.
What has become of these plans? Will these aircraft remain buried there forever?
