The Ju88A5 was raised from a freshwater fiord in late 2000 and is in excellent codition [ I was able to crawl all over it during my visit ;-))] She was lying in oxygen free fresh water , with sea water above. Should be fully restored in around 5 years !
The other aircraft including a He111 , 109 and a Ju88 cannot be raised due to the fact that they lie in a freshwater lake that is the backup for the local towns water supply , despite the fact that the Norwegian AF Museum have guaranteed the safety of the operation . The local authorities have even banned water sports on this lake !

p.s.
Not sure if the Fw200 is the one that fell to pieces when raised a few years back and is now under loooooong rebuild in Germany.
