Stirling section in store at RAFM

Hi all,
On a more lightharted note, having seen the Stirling cockpit section mock up and being very impressed with the size of it I was wondering about the following:
With the Stirling being such a significant aircraft and also the fact that there isn't a single complete example, what are the RAFM plans with the very substantial sections of LK488 which were recovered from Mickle Fell.
If they do not have the time or the means or the desire to use these sections for a reconstruction wouldn't it be better to donate these sections to the Stirling Project so they can hopefully speed up the process and get a Stirling up on its feet before I retire.
What are your views?
