David. Very good points, and thanks for your sensible and balanced views. If it is such a regular topic then obviously it has some significance to a number of people! In fact, I know it is exercising a lot of minds at present and we are not just talking about concerns over piles of junk from excavations. Its a much wider issue than that. I hope people can come back with views and experiences from overseas, too, as well as the States and UK. Later, I'll look up the details from the USAF Policy Document and post it on the site. I think that will interest some of our friends the other side of the water who have come back in amazement that such a policy document exists as they had been told the opposite by the US authorities. Certainly, US Navy aircraft seem to be a whole different ball game to USAAF/USAF aeroplanes. Andy Saunders.
