A couple of months ago, I posted on this, re. The Hurricanes that Jim was recovering from Russia. My contact described a chance meeting with Jim and his son, in a bar in Russia, where they told him about the hurricanes, and also a Lancaster they were after, or rather, the son did I believe.

My contact, also stated that he had seen 2 Ju87's at a russian ircraft factory, and also knew of a 109 at Mikoyan.

After some investigation at my behest, he felt it very likely, that other Russian aircraft production and research facilities, still held "War prizes" from 1945, either dumped, on display, or still crated within facilities.

I'm not saying my contact is accurate, but private enquiries to others active in aviation in Russia, suggest that he is everything he says he is, so I , right now, have no reason to doubt him.

Carl-Frederick Geust, who occasionally visits here, (Red Stars series) is almost certainly the man to ask on this subject, but my guess, is Tsagi (The Russian Farnborough), or one of the shadow testing facilities for Tsagi in the URals
