I have heard and read, that the Russians do not throw anything away. I have seen some magazines and books with proof to this effect.

It is quite possible that what your friend told you, is true. But, why should all that be in a "secret" airfield? Nothing should be unknown to the historians by now, regarding Germany's aviation, even their secret projects.

But, wouldn't it be great, if all of a sudden, there were one or two He-177s somewhere? What about a Me-323? just like a childhood dream come true!
