Hi all,
The Miles M20 was designed to a specification by the Air Ministry for a light weight fighter using non-strategic materials during the Battle of Britain. This aircraft with fixed landing gear and wooden construction used a Beaufighter MK II engine installation. Although it never made it to production status it was a very advanced type.
Why has there never been an attempt to recreate one. Considering its simple construction and engine installation it would not be that difficult or would it? Not for AJD engineering I think.
