I belive either the Firefly or one of the BBMF Spits have flown with an ex-Shack engine that was converted to drive a single propeller.
I belive they had to have a few parts specially engineered and approved to make it work, so I guess it was rather expensive.

(BTW: I would also like to know the price of a run out Griffon/Merlin. I would like to have one on display in my living room....) :-)
