The "Lance Corke Spitfire" is RM873. It was formerly on display in the Thai township of Sawankalok. The wings were spirited away for a certain mk IX Spitfire in Australia, not without diplomatic incident, and eventually came to the UK to be included in the Charles Church Collection. The fuselage was eventually recovered by the Thai Air Force sometime after my visit there in 1989 and before 1992 when spotted by Solve Fasth in the Museum Store in Bangkok in 1992. It was still there on my last visit in 1996 and knowing the Royal patronage of things Spitfire in Thailand I am pretty sure it is still there - unless you know differently!
