Obviously my english could be much better, I?ll try to explain:
By a genuine "complete" warbird I mean the opposite of a composite, all the major components (sub assemblies like fuselage, tail, left wing, right wing) comes from the same individual, it has a single identity no matter which part it is attached to.
I didn?t mean original, you could argue that there are no original warbirds even in museums since they all had "the tyres changed".
My genuine "complete" warbird has been used, maintained and overhauled as it was supposed to be to keep it in airworthy condition during its service life.
That work is continued today to modern airworthiness standards which, as You point out and I mentioned in a earlier post, makes an original flying warbird impossible.
