I tend to go along with the B-57 theory, but not the WB-57 variant. The RB-57F/WB-57F had a new General Dynamics wing with a span of 122 ft, giving a span:length ratio of about 1.8:1 !, compared to just under 1:1 for the original B-57. The aircraft/blotches in the pic, even though they seem to have big wings, won't stretch to 1.8:1. My suggestion is that they might be RB-57Ds - another big wing (ie bigger than original, but smaller than F model) variant.
