Mitcham is near Croydon and local to me Peter. Looked up Eyres in the phone book, no luck. If anyone has an address I can investigate, so long they have fed their Alsations! Suspect however that it is now a housing development or business park or any bits have long since gone to the greta smelter in the sky!
