Yes, Brendon Deere is Al Deere's newphew. In addition to the Spitfire he also has a Percival Provost to be restored for transition training. Pictures of both in CWD Vol 8 No.2. Subscribe if you haven't already.

Brendon owns a software company, and is also an author. I have a book he wrote called "Military Wings Volume Two" (published 1980), concerning aircraft in the RNZAF. Presumably he also wrote Volume One but I haven't been able to find a copy, as yet.

Cheers,

Brett
