Hi all.
Only my second post and it seems that I have stepped on a few toes here, but as I sit here in my own littlw world, in my own little office at home, surrounded by pictures, boofs and models of Lancasters, Halifaxes, Beaufighters, Spitfires, Hurricanes, P40, P47, P51 etc..., (I have to admit to being WW11 nut) I do find it hard to consider the Pipers' L-4, Texans/Harvards as Warbirds.

This is not to say that I don't appreciate seeing such aircraft in their nature element. I do and as I live close to Sywell in Northants and like to spend a few sundays each summer just watching. I also visit Duxford more times that I admit to the wife and again love the sound of Harvards.

As for the Mosquito Bomber, A6/EA6 etc, of course these are Warbirds and it right at this position where my point falls down.

Tony
