David - Sorry... I did not mean to sound like the aircraft was not ready. I know how much work Guy Black and his team at Aerovintage have put into this aircraft. When I said that it had been ready for a while, I meant that Pete Kindsey og the Fighter Collection test flew the Nimrod about 3 months ago and since then, nothing has happened. The TFC Hurricane is still in bits. Is TFC waiting until their other Hurricane is ready before they carry out the swap?

All the time that TFC were waiting for Aerovintage to complete/rectify the Nimrod, it is just a shame that Aerovintage/HAC are now waiting on TFC.....

: Phillip - That simply isn't true - the Nimrod has been in
: a period of fault finding and rectification. Some of this
: has involved research into documentation that was produced
: in the 1930's. This is a complex aeroplane and as such if
: I was swapping an aeroplane of the value of the Hurricane
: (i.e ?1 million plus) I would want it spot on . After all
: these machines are not just designed to be flown at air d
: isplays - they need to be safe and fly well.
