Just a few notes on the Vengeances Tony. The guy who gathered up the airframes at Whale World, Albany, Western Australia was John Bell, a keen pilot and really neat guy. Unfortunately he was lost in the crash of a Cessna 337 in, I think, 1995 while flying a search for a missing 'boatie'. Very sad loss but his son is keeping the collection alive. John had travelled all over Australia collecting Vengeance parts to make his aircraft more complete, also rounding up parts for his Vought Kingfisher which he acquired as a fuselage but continued to add to, ending up largely complete but for the starboard mainplane. The collection remains as a tribute to this guy who, had he not been lost to us, would probably be giving you cheek on this site by now.
As for the other Vengeance, this belongs to Harold Thomas' Camden Aviation Museum. The aircraft is really something to see being every bit the time-capsule Vengeance. Harold and his son Alan were running the engine not that long ago.
Cheers for now, Graham
