Yep , in a collapsed hangar , under a pile of rubbish , which unfortunately corroded the wreck badly . Aircraft was undergoing repair after AA damage when the airfield was abandoned . Story I heard was that the Russian base commander ordered the hanger blown up when some of the children injured themselves playing on the wreck , but beams fell in a way that protected the wreck from being crushed . the remains of the hangar were then used as the base rubbish tip over the intervening years . The small museum at Cottbus were to rebuild the 190 and had made new canopy glass etc , but that is about as far as it has got by the looks of things.
