As you already know, the C-97 is part of the MNANG museum, which by the way, is really good.

The other airfield, is Fleming Field. It used to be a training base during WWII; there are many interesting airplanes based there; there is the CAF's MN Wing, with their P-51B; the B-25 you saw, plus there are the remains of a PBY; nearby hangars hold an assortment of antique airplanes, really worth a trip there. The WIPAIRE company is located there, as is also the BRS company that makes ballistic parachutes for ultralights and light airplanes.

Besides Fleming, North of MN is the ANOKA-Blaine airfield, housing one of the best assortments of warplanes anywhere.

Flying Cloud Airport, West of the MN airport, is also a good place to visit.

I hope this information will help you head back there soon/

Saludos!
