I took about 390 MEGABYTES of photos, and two rolls of film... I may actually have gotten one or two good shots out of all that too!
Smoggy on Saturday, overcast to broken clouds on Sunday- lots of good photo (and sunburn) opportunities!
P-47D had a brake problem and didn't fly, while the P-51A landed Sunday trailing steam, but the show was otherwise uneventful.
There were highlights aplenty, but my favorites were (in no particular order):
Stephen Grey Spit Mk.IX aerobatic demo
Heritage Flights- A-10 Thunderbolt II/P-47G/P-51D and F-18E/F6F-3
Brian Sanders Sea Fury aerobatic demo
Spitfire Mk.XIX- gotta love that contra-prop!
3 Spits and a Hurricane...
22 aircraft in the air at once!
I also had the pleasure of meeting Rob Morgan who frequents this forum. Hopefully he can comment on his experience from the "Duxford" perspective.
