.........it was shot down on May 27th 1942 and crashed into the Noordzeekanaal (North Sea Canal) near Beverwijk.

What the Germans left behind was recovered during the sixties. What I heard the remains were fairly substantial, but all was scrapped.

Sorry it took a bit longer but I just got back from exams.
