I understand from TFC that the engines are not an insurmountable problem and that late marks possibly 214's or 216's will be substituted in custom built radial mounts. If you look at the single one fitted, I think from memory it is has a different quantity & arrangement of legs fitted to the firewall than the later one fitted to the hercules egg sitting near by (214?). Probably because the late marks have different accessory arrangements to the rear than the early ones.
There is also the small matter of getting enough exhaust manifold bits to retrofit to the later marks which have a rear facing exhaust as opposed to the front collector ring. Nice to have the the engines whipped out of the Hendon one! though I don't think most people would mind or notice the difference between a Beau in the air with late mark hercules or with early ones. Could always fit a pair of Merlins too, though there are few enough examples of beautiful sleeve valve aeroengines flying these days.
