Braemar Wellington

Many years ago I remember reading in Flypast about the recovery of the remains of a Wellington from the mountains near Braemar. The aircraft was in very good condition and consisted of both wings including most of the ancilliaries, fuel tanks, engines, undercarriage and plumbing. In addition there was also a complete tail with the rear fuselage and all of the flying surfaces. The condition of the metal also looked excellent and there was talk of a rebuild. Whatever became of this aircraft ? It seems a terrible shame if she was split up and scattered to the four winds. Given the rarity of the Wellington surely this has to be basis for another project.
