lol means to Laugh out loud Graham, and is a measure of how seriously I may, or may not take something....
Which I do at the following...
a. Spitfires buried at Mingladoon
b. Flying ME163 replicas (but thats with admiration)
c. Certain people , with an elitist attitude, when it comes to warbirds,who refuse to help enthusiasts, or share information with others, but much prefer to give warbird owners scphincter baths. ;0)
I agree with you wholeheartedly, but, lets face it Graham, lets get them out of wherever they are, and get them hangared. If they can't be rebuilt, at least they can be used as spares/parts/pattern ships. At the end of it all, every single one of us, Researchers, enthusiasts, restorers and owner/operators, are essential in the chain, if we are to continue enjoying these aircraft for a lot longer.
