Hi Paul,
The Breda still has most of the cargo on board.
However entry to the cargo holds is very difficult due to the collapse of the decks and 'tween hatches. There have been a few serious injuries and a fatality of divers who tried.
The sinking of the Breda also claimed Sunderland N9022 from No.210 Sqn which crashed in a night landing, at 21:17 hrs, off Maiden Island, Oban Bay. The Sunderland landed safely but hit an underwater object which ripped open the hull and flipped the aircraft onto its back. The underwater object was thought to be a horse box from the SS Breda, sunk in Ardmucknish Bay.
Regards
Ross
