Repeated burnings or not, the remains would certainly be worthy of recovery. Providing the individual parts retained their original shape and form, even if incomplete, combined with drawings they would certainly make the task easier. It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. When it comes to manufacturing new parts is certainly a case that a part is worth a thousand drawings!
