42-18547... hhhmmmmmm... I checked Scott's Warbird Registry and he doesn't have a 42-18547 listed, perhaps this is one to be listed yet. However take a look at the picture of the P-39N with s/n 42-4949...

...this looks like the paint scheme I saw in 1997 with the name "Small Fry". It says it is owned by Military Aircraft Restoration Corp, which I believe means David Tallichet (could be wrong). The B-29 fuselage in the background is "Lucky Lady II" which is with the Planes of Fame. I suspect, the P-39 pictured here is the one at the Planes of Fame.
I'll look up both serials in my WWD (1st ed) tonight when I get home. In the mean time can anyone else shed any light on the id of the airframe that was once marked "Little Sir Echo" and is currently marked "Small Fry"?
