P-51D,Pilots Armour

Does anybody on this splendid forum know the total height of
the pilots (behind seat) armour on P-51D?
I have a damaged piece of the armour but it lacks the lower straight part wich was lost in a crash.
I need the total measure so I can weald on the missing piece
to make it complete.
