Hi Cees,

The tail unit was the one from Elsie. It was taken to Linkoping in 1985, but was returned due to lack of interest in 1992.

In Tom Bennett's book '617 Squadron' (I found a signed copy for ?2!!) there are two old photo's of Elsie when she was relatively intact. I will write a nice polite letter to the publishers and ask them if it's ok to scan them to put in the gallery.

I think ther must have been a bit of an environmental clear up, as the bits that are missing all had fluids, or perishable components, e.g. wheels and tyres, turrets, engines, oil systems, fuel systems, retraction systems.

It would be nice to know where it all went.
