Has anybody read the report in Aeroplane re: PL983 Crash?

Shocking, that it appears that while there were spectators on the emergency airstrip and this was why Martin Sargeant had to re-allign with main runway.. This fact has been totally ignored by the French investigators, nor has any blame been apportioned to the organisers/management for this fact....

This does NOT bode well for future safety at French airshows..

Can you have imagined the offical reaction if he HAD attempted to land on the emergency runway with all the people??? Crazy..
