I know how you feel.
Some time ago I wrote the text for the displays in our museum in Dutch and English. I do not know how many thousands of words in either language I rammed into the computer, but it took me months.
Of course there is always a chance that mistakes are made and that is no problem, when people draw you attention to it, I even appreciate it.
But it is often the tone in their voice when they point out to you that THEY have found a mistake (after looking for hours to find one) that makes you want to commit murder on the spot. It makes you think that these people are only visiting museums to check for any errors and then start harassing the people who made the text, how they could be so stupid to make a mistake like that!
It even makes my blood boil while typing this.
