Hi Simon
In quick answer to your questions:
1) The largest item we have is the entire stbd outer wing
2) The only bits that are not in existance are a nose and rear mid-fuselage (although there is a small section). We have sections of inner wing only.
3) We have all drawings that are publically known to exist and some from commercial sources
4) No, the first major section we are tackling is the rear fuselage - we are recieivng the materials for the jig on Saturday - all other items are mothballed for the moment apart from our Merlin X which is under teardown outside Edinburgh.
5) Yes (vague I know - sorry!)
I wish there was a Whitley in Russia but it would be a big surprise to me. There are a few in the Baltic and we have found two in the Channel although I haven't dived them yet.
We have a dig planned for later this year which I have high hopes for!
