If you want an arial photo of anywhere in the US, try www.mapquest.com. All you have to do is put in an address, and get the map. When the map appears there is a little tab on the map that says "aerial photo". Click the tab, and you get a photo. Some are in black and white, some color (depending upon region). I checked out a lot of places, including swamp land, and it's all there... you can even zoom in enough to see cars well enough to tell a pick-up from a sedan. The color photos are more recent obviously, and they are pretty current (in fact, I checked Manhattan Island in September, and they showed the 911 aftermath in pretty nauseating detail). Check it out, it's a hell of a resource!
