: There is only one complete Lancaster in the UK with missio
: ns to its credit, and one nose section. Of the few Lancast
: ers worldwide, at least two veterans sit in postwar colour
: s, with no mission symbols or recognition of what they and
: their crews did. It stinks.

KB882 will remain in her RCAF post-war livery because she spent 12 years flying photo recon over the Canadian Arctic. Right in front of the aircraft is a plaque which tells of her war-time bombing history.

KB839 is another photo Lanc with a war-time record. There is no identification where the aircraft is stored but there are details inside the museum.

Although these Lancasters are war-time bombers with verified ops, they served Canada from 1952-1964.

Good luck finding a home for Elsie!
