For those interested, the RAAF Museum has re-started the long-term restoration of its PRXVI Mosquito, A52-600. The Museum's Supermarine Walrus HD874 has been completed and is now on display. The Mosquito has now taken its place in the Museum's aircraft maintenance and restoration hangar. Before being sent to Australia and renumbered A52-600, the Mossie was RAF NS632. Total flying time before being sent for disposal was 321 hours and 50 minutes and it last flew on the 18 July 1947.
Photo's of the restoration will be placed on the Museum's web site as this daunting project progresses.
