Hi Dan--

: Did you and Mike ever get those pictures of my BT-13 that
: I sent? I found a stack of photos on my desk last week (u
: nder a stack of Stearman stuff, which was under a stack of
: Spitfire stuff, which was under a stack of tax stuff!) an
: d I got this cold feeling that they are the ones that I wa
: s supposed to send you and Mike!

Could be...this item is news to me! (And your archive there sounds a bit like mine...ahem...) Do you still have the BT, or did it find a new owner?

If I didn't I'll get the
: m off to you guys ASAP as soon as I get home.

Ta! Always glad to see more material on any Walt-related stuff. (BTW, am currently in the early stages of building a 1:72 diorama of part of Walt's property as it was in the early 80s when I visited. Gotta find a way to post a pic of it on WIX when it's finished.)

I'm in Chur
: chill, Manitoba right now hauling fuel with the Herc and I

Brrrrr, I bet...

: can confirm that Avro Arrow RL202 is not hidden in an aba
: ndoned hangar in Churchill - 'cause my flight engineer and
: I looked in all of them! :-)

Well of course not, silly: everybody knows it went to Groom Lake in 1963 after a spell at Palmdale as a lead-in trainer for the A-12/SR-71 project, being stored there until it was scrapped sometime between 1966 and 1971. Anybody got a pic of it at either facility in the all-black USAF livery it wore to test the Blackbird paint?? (Hee hee!) :-)

Cheers

S.
