This could be the ideal opportunity for a certain Dutchman we know, to redress the balance once and for all by producing, drawing from his own in depth knowledge, a definative authoritative technical biography of the Halifax. ;-)
I know what you mean, there have been some incredibly embarrassing aviation books produced over the years regurgitating the same old twaddle each time. I'd rather buy a book of photos, drawings and technical information on a type.
