I grew up in New South Wales near Narromine - During WW11 618 Sqn RAF I believe was sent to Australia to utilise the smaller Barnes Wallace bouncing bomb. The Idea was to bounce the bomb alongside japanese warships and have it detonate just below the waterline. Anyway I have photos of the Mosquitos lined up at narromine and all had 4 blade props - I later rebuilt a rear fuselage section from one which incidentially had a few german bullets lodged in it. All of this was of course secret at the time but is now fully documented in a Book by David Vincent of South Australia (out of print I am afraid but a great read) I will post the photos from Narromine shortly. More RN ones will be posted today / tomorrow and I will put together a bit more of the story if anybody is interested.
