RE: Freeman Field recoverys
There are two places I know of to read the reports of the digging at Freeman Field in the past 6 years. One is the book, FORGOTTEN FIELDS OF AMERICA Vol II, by Lou Thole, and the other is the two reports I wrote myself on the subject.
I was on hand for all the expeditions as a historian and photographer. I have a two part story that was published in the newsletter of the TWIN CITIES AERO HISTORIAN, our local IPMS/AAHS affiliated group. I will be glad to supply copies of those stories to anyone who would liike a copy.
However, hold off for about a week on any requests, as I will be in Florida for the T-6 clinic at Sebring and for Sun N Fun at Lakeland until April 15th.
