Hey Mike

RAF Museum, Hendon First. You can reach it by tube (Cricklewood I think), with a short hike.

If you have any further time, then there is the Science Museum, which has several unique airframs (Alcock & Brown's Vimy, Supermarine S-6B, Gloster Whittle, SE5E, ... among others).

There is also the Imperial War Museum near Lambeth Palace (seem to remember it's the Elephant and Castle tube stop). When I was last there, they had a Spit I, Fw-190, Hurricane I, P-51D, Halifax and Lancaster cockpits, and Zero center section). It's a small museum, but well worth the trip.

My guess though is that Hendon will take you most of the day, and you mightn't have time for another.

Good luck and have fun though!

Richard
