If I may adress you Sir

I have a couple of suggestions to make here which may or may not benefit the cause to which we all ascribe support.

1) One thing I have learn't is that high level bureacrats and brass (such as myself) respond very little to the common man when he complains about their actions. One way to get their attention is as was suggested by someone else yesterday. Get some egocentric twit with a lot of fame about them on your side. John Travolta was a great suggestion and I would put two more names up there Paul Allen ( BIG Washington state connection here) or/and Kermit Weeks. The reason I would go for these guys is that they are both very sucessful lobbists and that is what you need here - people who how to talk to people and who to talk to.

2) Try protesting at selected very visable and politically embarrassing venues - it is an election year and Bush is a "red neck" popularist and it could well be easier to approach it from that viewpoint - get a lot of Vets at the protest so you maxamise the "good ol boys " effect here. Emphasise that you are all just little guys trying to do your bit to preserve what has made the US Mitltary great and the bueracrats are just stomping on US heritage and the American way.

3) Look up a list of lobbists in Washington DC - I think they have to register over there and see if there is anybody interesting on the list- Ex vet - space hero etc and if you find someone good - see if they will advise you and even help out a bit( free of course!!!)

My thoughts and kindest regards
