Hi James,
If W1048 is a long way down the queue, I wonder whats in front!
Anybody know?
If the number of Halifax airframe's were similar to those of the Lancaster, I could understand that decision to leave her in an 'as found' condition.
Regretfully this is not the case and personally I feel that W1048 should be restored to her former glory and should be at the top of any list!
However, I wonder how many of those of us that support W1048 being restored, would feel the same if a relatively complete and easily accessible Stirling were discovered in the near future?
