Blayd Zero fabrication questions

If I remember correctly, back when the Blayd Zero was in its first few years of construction, a magazine article mentioned that Blayd was fabricating two or three duplicate parts for every part they had to construct. Since they fabricated most every part of the Zero's airframe, I would take it that there are effectively two or three disassembled Zeros worth of parts in storage somewhere.
Does anyone have a clue whether they followed through with their decision to make triplicate copies of each newly fabricated airframe component?
